The Blood Orange grove today. Weeding ...pruning off the runners. These trees were ordered from a wholesale nursery down in the foothills of Fresno. The Nic and I drove down there to get them a few years back. Did you know that behind Fresno...eastward towards the mountain range...is solid orange groves? Must be 30-40 miles of groves! Anyhow....our trees were just 18 inches high at the time of planting.....now they are reaching 3 to 6 feet. yes...another winter with many nights being outside during the frost...babysitting these trees :-(
