Adding a ramp to the second level will help the chickens get up there. We have placed a ledge there too, right outside the entrances.
Thank you Sparky Dog, for building us just a wonderful unit from recycled material. The total cost of this project was $5.00. It's a two story high, chicken coop for eggs to be hatched.....undisturbed by the other chickens. 4 ladies will be doing the task of raising their chicks in this separate yard within the main chicken yard. Each lady will have 15 eggs.
