A plane crash-landed Saturday night.....less than a few thousand feet from our property. The entire emergency network showed up...including "that" helicopter. One reason why we moved from the city...was those damn helicopters circling and circling ...always gave me deviation of the head because of a bend in the neck!
Three nearby houses, our neighbors, decided to do a family get-together.....they ended up cutting more than a half dozen trees with a crane for help. Most fun to watch from my office window here...I was debating to offer my help :-)
I left the farm to do an run to the store....there was a couple of mid twenties kids in a beat up Z280 that passed me on the corner from our driveway. You know....one can just sense trouble. I pulled over in front of a neighbors house, and Adam that lives there, yelled at me that these two had cruise by twice....scoping out another neighbors house, Dan's. Making a U turn I did...they took off.......and I gave chase for three blocks. Always watch you house....and the neighbors....get involved!
Yes...to top off this calm and collect weekend...I watched The Walking Dead t.v. series.
