Planting crops at last

It's show time! The crops are going in. I have decided to do a small scale planting this year. Not nearly what we will be doing in 14 months from now....but with this year....I can learn a few things about the crops I want before going big time. Big time means big time issues too......so I'd rather work out the kinks.

We be planting a lot more different veggies in the following 10 days. I can't wait to plant my Giant Banana Squashes..........they will grow up to 9 feet long!  I also have some Heirloom watermelon called Charleston Gray. These were what the farmers grew back in 1886.

Mark Twain once wrote:
"When one has tasted watermelon, he knows what the angels eat".
