Viking ram rods?
The area of the house.....needed to be gated off whenever the horses are let out into the Orange Grove....we were loosing too much dog food that is stored near the back house door, since Big Girl loves the stuff! Too many times the dog food bin got knocked over.....and $30.00 to $70.00 worth of dog food disappeared into Big Girl's taste buds.
A steel gate this close to the house is not only ugly....but a nuisance to open at every pass.....especially when the Orange Grove pasture is only used for 4 weeks a year. Here's my solution, and a BIG cost saving idea.
You can see the "slide" brackets I made. The post simply slips back and forth into position. When the grazing in over...slip the post out and store it til next season. About $4.00 to create compare to the steel gate cost of around $80.00.............. multiple by 2 ....... is $160.00!
