Just as you have read and got awed with the pictures....in your early elementary classroom books such as "Fun With Dick and Jane".......that life on a farm is so charming and routine, to say. Yes.....having a family dinner and then a little tele ..... with hot chocolate..... warm bed at by 9 p.m. Wow.....I love it, you said.

A cold front came in unexpectedly yesterday ...windy and all that stuff that goes with a winter's day. According to the weather site....tonight is to be 28f . Same goes for the rest of the week. We all knows what this means...
While you had dinner and then ended up watching the late Show last night....Farm Deno was outside..... creeping out the neighbors with his flashlight in the pitch dark orange grove.....covering up these trees with burlap. Why so late? Because the 14mph did not let up til 9:30 PM. This is the real life of a farmer....cold, tired, potty mouth at late night......and some more cold to add again!
Life is great as a farmer.....just don't expect it to be "Fun With Dick and Jane" all the time.
