It's Spring and the Winter chicks are now getting to be "The Ladies" as Farmer Deno calls the feathery bunch. Such a happy group that has been freed..... to roam the farm and have a great roomy coop. Nope...life don't get much better than this!
The good news is: The Ladies are starting to lay their eggs. Each week goes by and our egg count gets higher and higher. Need I say that the Natomas farm eggs are absolutely the best eggs that you ever will have. Almost a orange yoke.....and it stays firm as you break it for the frying pan!
The Ladies are free range.....lots of greens they munch up on what the farm naturally supplies.....and the shredded cactus with rice that we feed them twice a day.
