Autumn Beauty Sunflowers and those "big ol yellow" sunflowers....Arikara....were planted partially along the main road today. The upgrading of the appearance of our farm is starting to pay off. It is actually becoming a site that "feels" like a farm. With all these colors getting planted on the main road.....it be real hard to pass the farm.
I'll be planting a row or two of these sunflowers behind the corn crop....along the horse fence. These colors should will clash against the green corn stalks....the effect that I am looking for. Yes....this is considered a crop because we will be selling fresh cut flowers at the fruit stand.
Fruit stand construction is about a month away. Yeah!
