...from tiny little seed to carts of freshness

Time has come on this day....that we sow our seeds for the first batch of the hothouse. These seeds will be ours and yours......garden veggies.

Already in the hot house is more Artichoke and Broccoli that has been in there for two weeks.......these were starter packs from an vender. The boysenberries are kicking out little leafs from their stems this week, finally.

This March.... we will have seedling veggie packs  available to the public. Last year there were 6 days of frost in Rio Linda in February.....so the veggie packs wont be avail to you until March through June. The sell dates will be available on our new website that will be up and running at the middle of February.

Did you take notice that Farmer Deno is in the picture? That's me back in 1934.......
