A zillion blossoms

It's going to be a perfect year for boysenberries. Farmer Deno has never seen so many blossoms on the vines as it is this year. To help all this......the bees are in vast numbers this year. I just don't look forward to having purple hands from all the harvesting that will be going on. If I could only teach the dogs to pick...........

Our berries will be ripe towards the third week of May. We harvest early in the mornings up till where the air of the day gets warm. Most of our fruit is placed in the fruit stand or it is prepared to be delivered to our local clients such as the small "Mom and Pop" stores. For our mobile fruit stand....the berries are picked within an hour before leaving for it's destinations. Those destinations are posted at our website.

You should come by the farm to see the blossoms in effect. Next week the flowers will be gone. It's truly amazing to see. Just go to our website for directions to get here....and then feel free to walk into the berry patch that is spotted with our Rio Peach trees. Plenty of parking there too. Officially......the farm's tour access opens on the third week of May. This is where anyone can tour the farm, see the animals.....do a picnic if you wish.

Just watch out for three doggies with purple stained paws.......
