It seems that the locals just love our produce. They will come in the middle of the night to acquire our fresh and tender offerings. The bad part of all this is that the locals are jack rabbits.......and they dont pay for what they take!
The farm decided to go ahead and plant Fall produce. We have been on and off about planting.....this due to the fact that I really have too many projects to get done before next Spring. The problem is .....Farmer Deno never has planted a Fall crop......and I need to see the issues and learn from those issues. So............kale, Russian cucumbers, yellow neck squash, broccoli, red cabbage, several lettuce varieties, and sugar peas..........welcome to the farm!
Perhaps we will be selling rabbit fur coats.... at the fruit stand in the Fall.
