Out from the confines of wooden boxes...and a steel "Frankenstein" looking tub.......I relocated the chicks into the unfinished chicken coop. A few heat lamps, some straw on the concrete floor.....chow feeder too......it's all cheers in there. No clucking. I'll finish the interior with perches and the roosting boxes right after Thanksgiving Holiday.
All chickens on the farm are here for producing eggs.....none will appear on some restaurant's menu.
I'll cage up the low egg producing chickens and drive them over to the KFC parking lot...... for a little sight seeing. That should perk em up :-)
