The hothouse is finally finished.....and just about right on time too. This is where the farm will start the veggies from seeds.....for early Spring planting.
Now.....how do I know when it's time to start thinking about sowing seeds in our new hothouse?
Oh.....I just go out to our country road mail box and see if the mass mailings from the seed catalogs have arrived :-) Yes yes......these catalogs are making a little mountain here on top of Farmer Deno's office desk.
I think last year I lost my keyboard ....from the amassing of magazines that has covers with catchy looking veggies displaying fruit the size of one's wishful imagination. I love the BIG font sized 50% off displays of some of the catalogs too. Makes you really want to hurry to order before that sweat deal disappears.....til next year .....again :-)
The hot house will serve as my cutting room too. This is where the new berries and certain fruit trees will be developed. Hot and humid is the key to getting a great production of farm starter plants.
