This year we are re-starting our free wood chip mulch for our community, installing worm bins, finishing the bee hive "island" that we have been building.....and a host of other projects that simply requires a front loader.
I found this this tractor not on craigslist.com ......nor from a newspaper ad......rather from a Face Book page. Your community where you live most likely has several Face Book "for sale" sites.....and there are good deals there. Just like this tractor.
Now it did have some issues and all that. There's an old saying about buying used cars....you are buying all the troubles too :-) This goes for tractors as well .....I found out. Troubles it had .....but nothing that required to take it out back and shoot it out of it's misery. I took the tractor over to a neighbor's house to have a minor repair done to it....that was three months ago.
He proceeded to repair.....replace.....redo.

This week the tractor goes to work for the first time in years. The old apple orchard had it's trees removed.....and now I must prepare the area for the new orchards that we are installing this January 2015. Better drainage to elevating the low grounds of the orchard.
What are we installing in the old orchard? Oh.....Elephant Heart Plums. Simply the best of plums. More peaches and giant pomegranates too.
