Patty Pan Squash.....I bet you never had it.....properly. Today, here at the farm....we been planting rows and rows of Patty Pan Squash just so that you can deep fry em' to a golden crispy brown treat. Boil them and then add garlic power.....Romano cheese.....some black pepper. Oh my!

Perhaps one of the best kept secrets of the squash family.....this patty pan squash. A mild flavor.....unique looking......comes in yellow, white, green and multi colors.  This past week we have increased the planting .....quadrupled in fact. It's a sell out crop......if you educate the consumers about how to cook with it. We give away samples.......the clients always comes back. We give recipes for it too.....the clients always comes back.
